  4.     The message blaring out of six Houston radio stations was
  5. loud and clear. "Look at all those people," says a voice. "Where
  6. do they come from?" A companion replies, "It will get worse. . .
  7. They want to let in millions more immigrants."
  8.  
  9.     The slick radio campaign kicked off last week by the
  10. Washington-based Federation for American Immigration Reform says
  11. traffic, homelessness, drug smuggling and other social problems
  12. will only escalate if present rates of immigration continue.
  13. FAIR is seeking a tighter lid on illegal immigrants and a
  14. 300,000-a-year cap on legal new arrivals.

  16.     Outraged by FAIR's campaign, some community officials have
  17. called for a boycott of the radio stations. In the face of such
  18. protest, the stations withdrew the ads. Unfazed, FAIR is looking
  19. for other outlets.
